Homework, due May 21 (please post BEFORE Monday's class)

Please post a follow-up response. This must be done PRIOR to class on May 21, otherwise you are unprepared and will receive discipline points.

QUESTION: While exploring the SCRATCH programming application in class, identify something that you got "stuck" on - and then explain how you got "unstuck"!

In other words, what errors or bugs did you come across, and how did you debug them?

  1. Something that was a bug on scratch was that the football player was going to fast, so I decreased the number of steps and it went slower

  3. I had a bug when i was trying to make my sprite shuffle which means i had to click my sprite and it would repeatly move continuosly. The bug was when i clicked the sprite, it won't just dance once, not repeatly. I fixed this by functioning my sprite to move back and foward 1,000,000 times.

  5. A bug that was irritating me while programming the Sprite was the Motion Control thing 0.o Controlling how much seconds the Sprite moved or how it moved. Then I figure out how to type in how many seconds I wanted the Sprite to move & the angles I wanted it to move at, at each click.

  7. A bug I discovered while I was using Scratch was that when you put more than one picture in one page the Sprite 1 button would take all of the pictures to the same place. To fix that I had to put more sprites in and add more scripts

  8. One bug I have come across is when I wanted my sprite to move onto a different background,
it just stayed on one wallpaper and I couldnt figure out where to change it, and even when I did change the background, I couldnt control when it was supposed to change, so i put a motion around the switch for backgrounds on the script, it changed when I wanted it to, thats how I exterminated the bug. :)
