Week 4: More With Hyperlinks

Click on this link.

What do you notice about that page when you first get to it? Are you at the top of the page, or somewhere else?

For homework, in the comments, answer the following:

1. What do you notice that is different about the URL in the link above, compared to what you usually see?
2. Use html to post another example of this type of link (can be from wikipedia, or any site, but please do not use my example, or copy from your classmates!)

Week 3 Homework: HTML =/= Hotmail

If you copy and paste a link in the comments section, it will just show up like this:

No one will be able to click on it.

Unless... you use HyperText Markup Language (or HTML)!

Week 2 Homework: Linespace

During class, we talked about the proper Microsoft Word formatting for a formal letter, including line spacing and margins. Some sources differ, but your letter should look something like this (click image to embiggen):


However you choose to format your letter, remember, the line spacing is much different from that of a paper or essay, which should be double spaced so that it is easier to read and so that a teacher can add notes.
