QUESTION: While exploring the SCRATCH programming application in class, identify something that you got "stuck" on - and then explain how you got "unstuck"!
In other words, what errors or bugs did you come across, and how did you debug them?

Something that was a bug on scratch was that the football player was going to fast, so I decreased the number of steps and it went slower

A bug or something that I got stuck on was that when I wanted my sprite to do an action the number I typed in was way less then what actually happen. So if I put 10 times it would be 30 times.

I had a bug when i was trying to make my sprite shuffle which means i had to click my sprite and it would repeatly move continuosly. The bug was when i clicked the sprite, it won't just dance once, not repeatly. I fixed this by functioning my sprite to move back and foward 1,000,000 times.

A bug that I noticed or had was I couldn't get my sprite jump at the right time with the others. Like I was making a wave so it took me a while to do that.

A bug that was irritating me while programming the Sprite was the Motion Control thing 0.o Controlling how much seconds the Sprite moved or how it moved. Then I figure out how to type in how many seconds I wanted the Sprite to move & the angles I wanted it to move at, at each click.

A bug I discovered while I was using Scratch was that when you put more than one picture in one page the Sprite 1 button would take all of the pictures to the same place. To fix that I had to put more sprites in and add more scripts

One bug I have come across is when I wanted my sprite to move onto a different background,
ReplyDeleteit just stayed on one wallpaper and I couldnt figure out where to change it, and even when I did change the background, I couldnt control when it was supposed to change, so i put a motion around the switch for backgrounds on the script, it changed when I wanted it to, thats how I exterminated the bug. :)

A bug i have come across was changing my backroud accroding to the strite that is being programming, but to change that a found a motion botton that said when press _____ key backround changed and i selected the space key, so when i pressed the space key when my other sprite was programmed and the backround was changed and my bug was debugged.

I uploaded a background but it came out too small. So I tried to enlarge it by using icons on the top tabs.
ReplyDeleteKemal Atay
While using SCRATCH, my sprites came out way too big, so I fixed this by shrinking it or using a size control.
ReplyDelete-Liam Toro
While using SCRATCH, a picture I got from Google was way to big so I fixed it by making it smaller by putting in -10 in size control.
