Week 4: More With Hyperlinks

Click on this link.

What do you notice about that page when you first get to it? Are you at the top of the page, or somewhere else?

For homework, in the comments, answer the following:

1. What do you notice that is different about the URL in the link above, compared to what you usually see?
2. Use html to post another example of this type of link (can be from wikipedia, or any site, but please do not use my example, or copy from your classmates!)

EXTRA CREDIT: What color did I use for the homework questions? (Hint: Right-click and use "View Page Source" to see the code)

    1) It starts in a different part of the page not the top like a regular link.

    1-) The hyperlik does not start on the top of the page like a normal link
    2-)This link will show you the importance of berries.

    1)This link is different from the usual because this links end up in the middle of the page instead if the top.

    Jorge, double check the link. You should find a link that is "anchored" to the middle of a page, instead of the top.

    1. What I see different this time is that instead of going at the top of the page as usual it goes in the middle of the page.

    1. The link has a number sign and the header of a part of the page that starts you there instead of at the top of the page.

    1) The hyperlink did not lead to the top of the page, it simply lead to a section of the main topic (which is in the middle).

    1. Instead of starting on the beginning of the page like a normal hyperlink it opened up somewhere in the world.

    1)When I clicked the link, it didn't go to the top of the page like links usually do. Instead, it navigated me to somewhere in the middle of the page.

    1) The link brought me to a specific part of the page, while it usually just takes me to the top of it
    2) Mr. Zitelli, the links I make aren't working, can I come for help after school?

    Extra: The color is a hex but I don't know which. I saw maroon 1 but thats not a hex color... fail.
