Week 2 Homework: Linespace

During class, we talked about the proper Microsoft Word formatting for a formal letter, including line spacing and margins. Some sources differ, but your letter should look something like this (click image to embiggen):


However you choose to format your letter, remember, the line spacing is much different from that of a paper or essay, which should be double spaced so that it is easier to read and so that a teacher can add notes.

HOMEWORK QUESTION: In the comments, explain the idea you came up with for your classwork assignment on writing a letter.

    1)The class work assignment for the letter that I chose, was Airsoft devices and how they work.
    2)I will explain how they work and what they are mainly used for.

    1. I want to type a letter to George Clooney mentioning the new upgrades to filming and stunt doubles to look more realistic.
    2. I want to mention this with him because it will make his movies a lot more exciting with action that seems more real to the auidence.

    1. I want to write a letter to cave men and uncivilized men/women about what a MP3 player is. Also the different types (through the years) and it's functions.

    2. I want to write this because I LOVE MY IPOD (and my past mp3 players) and i know lots of people that also like their ipod/mp3 player. So it makes the topic appealing to the audience.

    I want to write a letter about how to use a cotton candy machine

    I did ask you if I could make a question about this and you said yes

    I want to do this because I love cotton candy and everyone in the neiborhood should know how to use one and sell their cotton candy for free(what's the use of this letter if the cotton candy is not free)

    1. I would write a letter to Samsung about their upcoming Quad-core devices and Samsung Galaxy S2 successor
    2. I would send this so they could realize that they are improving technology rapidly and are making the idea of technology taking over humans more probable

    1. I could ask the government, military,the FBI, or the CIA that if they have more advanced technology than normal citizens
    2. I could also ask the company Apple and Android to make an alliance and combine their ideas

    1)I would write a letter to Apple saying where they get most of their ideas from and do they have a special way of upgrading their new technologies? Ex. From iphone 4 to iphone 4s, from macbook to macbook pro, etc.

    2)I would write a letter to iphone and android companies, and try to convince them to combine the qualities of their phones to create the ULTIMATE SMART PHONE! :D

    1) I guess I'd be writing a letter as a Verizon customer support or something and explain to a customer how wifi works and why verizon is the boss
    2) I could tell the customer how wifi works
    I like cablevision better but verizon sounds cooler

    1) In my letter, i wrote to "texting" and why is it so addicting, since our generation of technology has influenced many people to text.
    2) I'd write about how the addiction to texting can be either good and bad. And how it can effect us in our future if we continue this addiction.

    1) I want to write a letter to Microsoft and ask what it looks inside of an XBOX 360 and a kinect and how they program it.
    2)I would like to right this because I think the Kinect and the XBOX 360 are awesome. And i love playing Black Ops. and Dance Central. This will answer what helps me play these awesome games.
